A letter to Mr Cameron

                                                                                                                          1st October, 2014

Dear Mr Cameron,

I am writing to inform you of the devastating effects of poverty! It has taken a wicked toll on too many innocent, vulnerable lives. We are fortunate to be living in such a privileged country; one that I am lucky to call home.

We are so blessed to have luxuries such as sweets and playstation consoles to enjoy on a regular bases. But, we ALL take these wonderful treats for granted.
50% of Britain’s (including Northern Ireland) population are people suffering from poverty! How can you let this happen, Mr Cameron?

Children around the world are suffering from treatable diseases such as the flu, tonsillitis and malnutrition, which can all be prevented with the right care and treatment. This is just scratching the surface! As citizens of this country, I demand this unjustness to end! Stop the suffering!

Consequently, it is up to you and the higher officials of Parliament, to help bring awareness to this terrible inequality that is plaguing the United Kingdom and the world around us!

I hope that you are able to find this letter so touching that you take action to banish poverty and to allow all children and adults alike to live in a world of equality and equal chances.

Yours Truly,

Lillie Pritchard
