I would like to take this opportunity of publicly thanking Mrs Tighe for her hard work over the last five years, which has resulted in a tremendous impact on the school.
Cowley St Laurence Primary has gone from strength to strength and being judged as ‘good’ in July 2013 was evidence of this. We are really proud of what our pupils at Cowley St Laurence achieve.
However, it is not goodbye as Mrs Tighe continues to work in the Trust. As many of you may know, she has been appointed to be Head of School at St Martin’s Primary School, a new school we have been commissioned to open by the Local Authority in September. We take pride in our schools working very closely together and so there is every possibility that Mrs Tighe may be seen at Cowley St Laurence from time to time.
