We've listened...watch ParentPay get even better

Schools and Local Authorities told us they are increasingly looking for solutions to help completely remove cash from schools.

Parents/Carers are looking for more flexible ways to pay and an improved mobile experience.

So to give our customers what they want, we’re launching ParentPay My Account - the next evolution in school payments.

My Account will help Schools and Local Authorities

Schools need an online payment solution which parents trust and will use confidently.

ParentPay is a simple-to-use, socially inclusive service; these enhancements will further improve the usability, increasing uptake and allowing the ‘cashless school’ vision to be realised.

What's changing?

The introduction of scheduled payments for meals (summer term) will mean income is collected even more efficiently and the new ParentPay Payment Service Fee of just 1.29% will:

  • Enable Schools and Caterers to collect small value payments at vastly reduced costs, helping schools go fully cashless
  • Provide certainty on the costs making  budgeting for trips and other activities even easier.

And there’s more to come…

Later this year, parents will have the option to charge school meals automatically to theirParentPay My Account balance, increasing convenience and making life even easier.

We also plan to introduce the ability for parents to load the ParentPay My Account directly from their bank account via faster payment and standing orders.
